I am a retired web designer, living happily with my wife for almost 5 years in the Beleura Retirement Village, Mornington.
Our village / Villa numbering is somewhat not easy to follow. It is mainly due to the village being built in stages over a period of time.
In addition to the irregular villa numbering, we have one section of the village that was set as a one-way street for safety reasons (which I fully understand), but this makes it even harder for incoming people to find our villa around that area.
I designed a web page to assist service providers to find our villa when coming into the village.
Those providers can be any of the following:
Australia Post deliveriesA Plumber, Gardner, Electrician or any such trades peopleA 13CABS or UBER Taxi etc…Visiting friends
I provided residents the information and explained that it is best used as just another contact on their mobile phone. It doesn’t need to be a “Smart Phone” and can be used by anyone who is able to send an SMS to any of the above providers.
I am inserting below a few examples to explain to you how it looks and how it can be used when being sent to a mobile phone. It will take the arriving driver from the entry point to the village, directly to the intended villa and will go the correct way .
It is free to all, I will be happy to help in any plan you may have to include such a facility for all other retirement villages or other possible consumers.
